Hi, I’m Frank. I build Waitlark.
I’ve designed and built software since 2007, mostly for other companies: web apps, online stores and the tools behind them. Waitlark started as the waitlist for my own launches. When you email, I’m the one who answers.

Why Waitlark
I launch a lot of products, and each one needs a waitlist before it exists. Oftenflow, Flagbell and Gatelamp all did.
The waitlist tools I looked at all looked the same: a grey box with someone else’s badge, a monthly bill that grows with the list, and a fee to remove the badge.
So I built a waitlist that looks like each launch, keeps less data, and costs once per launch.
Waitlark now runs the waitlists for Oftenflow, Flagbell, Gatelamp and this site, each in its own brand. When it opens, you get the same thing.
How I build it
Independent
No investors and low fixed costs. Waitlark doesn’t have to grow at all costs, so it can be priced per launch instead of per subscriber.
Less data, kept in the EU
Signups are stored in the EU, IP addresses are never written down, and double opt-in is on from the start.
Our own launches first
Every feature runs on our own waitlists before it reaches yours. The changelog only lists what works today.
In the open
Anything not built yet says “Planned” on this site, without a date until there is one.
What I made before
- UptimeMateWebsite monitoring for uptime, speed and broken links. Acquired by HostPapa.
- Selected ScreensAn archive of interface designs, with research on the patterns in them.
- BricksDealA price tracker for LEGO fans in the Netherlands.
- OftenflowAn AI retention agent for Shopify stores, in development. Its waitlist runs on Waitlark.
- FlagbellThe helpdesk behind the chat button on this page.
