LaunchList or Waitlark? Here’s the difference.
LaunchList is a complete waitlist tool you can use today. Waitlark is still in development, with a different take on pricing, privacy and design.
LaunchList’s plans and features as shown on their own site on 21 October 2026.
Pick LaunchList if you need a waitlist this week, want to email your list from the same tool, or want the most features on a free plan. Pick Waitlark if you’d rather pay once per launch than monthly by list size, and want signups stored in the EU with no IP addresses kept.

Where LaunchList is strong
- Available today, with a free plan for your first 100 contacts and no card needed.
- A wide feature set: hosted pages from templates, multi-step forms, referrals with rewards, email campaigns and automations.
- Signed webhooks with delivery logs and replay, a REST API, an MCP server, and official Zapier, Make and Slack apps on Launch and up.
- Imports an export file from Viral Loops, Prefinery, KickoffLabs, Waitlister or GetWaitlist, with places in line kept.
Where Waitlark is different
- Priced per launch, never per subscriber, so the price doesn’t grow with your list.
- Signups stored in an EU database, and IP addresses are never stored.
- Webhooks, a custom domain, custom CSS and hiding the badge on every paid plan.
- A web component in Shadow DOM, so your site’s CSS and the form never collide.
Waitlark vs LaunchList: common questions
- Is Waitlark cheaper than LaunchList?
- We can’t say yet, because Waitlark’s prices follow before it opens. The model is different: Waitlark charges once per launch and the price never depends on list size. LaunchList charges monthly or yearly by plan and contacts, from $9 a month for up to 500 contacts. Everyone on the Waitlark waitlist gets an early-bird price for their first launch.
- Can I move my list from LaunchList to Waitlark?
- Waitlark isn’t open yet. When it is, export a CSV from LaunchList, which every plan includes, and ask us in the chat about bringing it over.
- Where does each tool store signups?
- LaunchList says its main database runs in the United States and that signup IP addresses are hashed rather than stored. Waitlark stores signups in an EU database and never stores IP addresses. Cloudflare sees the IP in transit to run the bot check.
- Can I email my list from Waitlark, like with LaunchList?
- Waitlark sends the confirmation, welcome and invite emails from your own address. Short updates to your whole list are planned, without a date. LaunchList has email campaigns from its Collect plan today.
